Denise Burke created Penny Art Jewelry along with her sister Wendy in 2012 when the penny was retired from Canadian currency.

We have dates that are hit and miss in the 20’s and 30’s but ample supply of pennies up through the years to 1996.  This is the last year we can use glass enamel on as after 1996 they are not made with copper.

For earrings or bracelets putting a birthstone color enamel on a birth year, makes a wonderful family heirloom.  It is truly enjoyable to sit down at the torches, with pennies and powder glass enamel, and wait to see what my mind will encourage hands to create.
