This method of working with glass gets its name because the glass beads or sculptures are formed by melting glass with a blow torch or “lamp”.

Different designs are created with layers of moretti or different coloured bullseye glass rods.

Once the piece is created it is placed in a kiln for the annealing (cooling) process. The glass is slowly brought to room temperature to make the glass durable.
