Jon Sawyer
Jon Sawyer has been working with glass for the past thirty years and is still intrigued by this fascinating molten material. Using skills that are centuries old, he creates light filled art forms that glow with warmth and colour.
Jon was first introduced to glass blowing techniques while at the Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ontario. He moved to New Brunswick and apprenticed at the Demaine Studios. He continued to develop his skill and approach to design at the Alberta College of Art and at the renown Haystack School of Crafts in the United States.
